(_Frank v. State_ 1914) - Frank's death sentence was commuted by Georgia Governor John Slaton in 1915. - John Slaton's law firm had previously merged with the firm of Luther Rosser, Frank's lead attorney creating an obvious conflict of interest and source of influence for Frank's defense. - A mob formed in opposition to the commutation. They lynched Frank on August 17, 1915. - Frank was later buried in the Jewish *Mount Carmel Cemetery* in Queens, New York. - After decades of ADL efforts, in 1986 the Georgia State Board of Pardons issued a posthumous pardon to Frank. - Three years prior they had rejected a pardon based on the lack of Frank's certain innocence. Certainty of innocence was required for such a pardon. - With no new evidence and even admitting they could not prove innocence they issued the 1986 pardon. - The ADL mourns the anniversary of Frank's death to this day. https://x.com/ADL/status/1957194158009209195 *Here is a link to their August 17th, 2025 post* #### Early History/Henry Ford - The ADL was formed by [[Adolf Kraus]] and [[Sigmund Livingston]] out of the Jewish fraternal order [[B'nai B'rith]] in direct response to the perceived antisemitism of the Leo Frank case. - The ADL began pressuring newspapers, theatres, and any other business they believed was antisemitic. - They demanded to pre-approve plays before production and lobbied advertisers to stop supporting antisemitic businesses. *And if you close your eyes does it almost feel like you've been here before?* - One of the ADL's first notable campaigns was against renowned American industrialist Henry Ford. In the Dearborn Michigan publication the *Dearborn Independent* Ford had been publishing a series called *The International Jew*. - Jewish lawyer Aaron Sapiro brought a libel suit against Ford in 1924 after being revolted at Ford's depiction of a Jewish cabal exploiting real Americans via marketing exploitation, monopolies, banking, etc. - The ADL launched a coordinated campaign against Ford. They distributed pamphlets against Ford along with an unrelenting campaign in Detroit area press smearing Ford and the *Dearborn Independent.* - The ADL and its allies then launched a boycott of Ford's cars. - Ford eventually capitulated under ADL and [[American Jewish Committee (AJC)]] pressure. - [[American Jewish Committee (AJC)]] founder [[Louis Marshall]] dictated the text of Ford's 1927 apology. - The *Dearborn Independent* was subsequently shut down. - The Ford defeat and subsequent apology was a seminal event in ADL history leading to the emboldening of the ADL and Jewish efforts against antisemitism. *The Ford case displays all the typical tactics of the ADL. First they organize many layers of Jewish and Jewish-sympathetic forces. Then they launch a media smear campaign. Then they take your money. Then they use the law to take everything you have. Then you become an example.* #### ADL Spying and Law Enforcement - In the 1930s ADL leader Richard Gutstadt reoriented ADL strategy to be more aggressively proactive. - This took the form of collecting information on perceived extremist groups including undercover infiltration of such groups. The ADL worked with the [[American Jewish Committee (AJC)|AJC]] to infiltrate pro Nazi groups. - In Los Angeles the ADL and local Jews ran a covert spy ring which monitored Nazi sympathizers and reported their intel to the federal government. *This is as good a place as ever to recommend you don't join "far-right" groups, militias, or any organized dissident groups.* - The ADL was a huge supporter of the civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s. The ADL was aligned with MLK, while at the same time spying on him on behalf of J Edgar Hoover's FBI. - The ADL worked with the [[NAACP]] to infiltrate, spy on, and discredit pro-white 'extremists' and their related groups. Once again they fed the intel to the feds. - The ADL adopted a strong opposition to nativism and anti-immigration sentiment. They had JFK as a Senator in 1958 write *A Nation of Immigrants*. The ADL is also behind the phrase "America is a nation of immigrants." - [[Abraham Foxman]], longtime ADL leader, wrote the forward in a republication of Kennedy's book. - The ADL has been in bed with the FBI and other federal agencies for most of its history. - To this effect in the 70s and 80s [[Irwin Suall]] monitored hate groups and informed on them to the FBI. > [!info] 1993 Spy Ring - In 1993 it was discovered that the ADL was running a decades long spying operation out of San Francisco. They collected information on ~12,000 individuals and ~950 organizations in the pursuit of rooting out extremists. - The ADL hired Roy Bullock to do the spying. - Bullock was a CIA contractor and an FBI informant. - Bullock reported to ADL "fact finding" chief [[Irwin Suall]]. - The operation monitored not only possible violent extremists but political activists critical of Israel. - The ADL used a network of sympathetic police officers (with CIA connections) to collect the information. The police officers were given free paid trips to Israel as a gift. - The ADL passed the intel it collected to the Israeli government and the Israeli intel agencies. *It is reasonable to conclude the ADL was the conduit for an Israeli intel op in the US.* - This huge story implicating the ADL was mostly ignored by the major publications. The ADL's media connections and reputation allowed it to escape such an insane scandal. - Beginning in the 80s the ADL's Washington office began lobbying for the passing of hate-crime laws. - States began adopting the ADL template hate-crime laws which it drafted in the 80s. - In 2009 the *Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crime Prevention Act* passed. The act was pushed by the ADL and can be thought of as the product of initial ADL efforts for such laws. - The ADL now works with the federal and local government to train police on hate crimes, antisemitism and extremism. - The ADL gives awards to law enforcement officials they most approve of. - After 9/11 the ADL, working with Israel, sponsors annual week long trips to Israel for top US law enforcement officials. *Why are us law enforcement officials allowed to be coached by the ADL and Israel?* - The ADL monitors online extremists, neo Nazis, white supremacists, antisemites, and their related groups. - The ADL passes information it collects to the federal government. #### ADL and Jonathan Pollard - American Jew and Israeli spy [[Jonathan Pollard]], among the most notorious and prolific foreign spies in US history, had many ADL connections. - Pollard stole hundreds of thousands of pages of material on CIA/US intel methods, intel on Israeli enemies, intel on the USSR, intel on South Africa, etc. - Pollard's treason badly damaged the CIA, and allowed Israel to use military action, out-negotiate the US, and sell US secrets to other countries among many other implications. *Pollard became a spy for Israel for one reason, he is a Jew and Israel is the Jewish State. He held the highest level intel clearance and believed that the US was withholding too much intel from Israel, so he gave it to them. If a Jew can be counted on to have an instinctual loyalty to Israel, should they be allowed in our intel services?* - Pollards Israeli handler in the US was Israeli Airforce Col. [[Aviem Sella]]. - Sella's wife is claimed to have been employee of the ADL's legal department while Pollard was spying. - As soon as Pollard was sentenced in 1987, the ADL's leadership flew to Israel to discuss the situation with Israeli leaders.[^1][^3][^4] - ADL leaders including [[Abraham Foxman]] and [[Nathan Perlmutter]] "dropped what they were doing and flew to Israel for a 24-hour round of meetings with Foreign Minister [[Shimon Peres]], top aides to Prime Minister [[Yitzhak Shamir]], [[Abba Eban]], member of the Knesset and chairman of its Defense and Security Committee, and U.S. Ambassador Thomas Pickering."[^3] - Longtime personal friend of Pollard and CIA agent Mira Lansky Boland remained in contact with Pollard while he was spying.[^1][^5] - Boland was the head of the ADL's "fact finding" activities in DC.[^1] - Both Pollard and Boland attended the Fletcher School of Diplomacy at Tufts University.[^2] - Both were mentored by Fletcher program director Uri Ra'anan. - Ra'anan is alleged to be a former Israeli intel officer who set up an Israeli spy unit at [[B'nai B'rith]] US national headquarters.[^1] - The ADL was founded out of [[B'nai B'rith]] and was organized under its umbrella until 2009. #RedPill *These are the important things always: schools, mentors, proteges, organizations, generations. When looking into events/people these are the keys to understanding.* ![[image-74.png|577x361]] *Netanyahu greets pollard after his 2020 prison release and subsequent relocation to Israel. * <br/> - The ADL views antisemitism as a "societal sickness." - The ADL has always been very pro Israel, however this became even more so in the 70s with the idea of "[[New-antisemitism]]." - In 1974 ADL director [[Benjamin Epstein]] and ADL attorney [[Arnold Forster]] published *The New anti-semitism*. - New antisemitism is largely defined by the addition of anti-Zionism and anti-Israel sentiment described as old hatred of Jews in a new form. - Prior to his 28 years leading the ADL, [[Abraham Foxman]] was an early new-antisemitism hawk. - Foxman saw criticism of Israel or its policies as antisemitism. - Foxman and the ADL began lobbying the US government to connect being anti Israel to being antisemitic. - This position continues today under director [[Jonathan Greenblatt]]. - The ADL endorses the [[International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)]] definition of antisemitism. - The IHRA definition is pushed onto US federal and state government bodies, social media companies, and is included in legal definitions. - The IHRA antisemitism definition includes: - Saying that Jews work as a collective for their own benefit. - Saying that Jews control media, government, economy. - Denying any aspect of the holocaust including the mass use of gas chambers. - Saying Jews are more loyal to Israel than their host country. - Claiming that Jews killed Jesus. - Holding Jews responsible for the actions of Israel. - Applying a double standard to Israel. - Denying Israel the right to exist. *Note: the US State Dept uses the IHRA definition.* - The ADL produces an annual *Audit of Antisemitic Incidents* in the US. Since 1979 the ADL has been meticulously documenting all incidents it believes are antisemitic. Incidents can include mere "verbal or written harassment." *Reports of this nature are fundamental to the legitimization of Jewish persecution and constant victimhood. They use these stats to claim unprecedented antisemitism.* - They use these annual reports to generate headlines such as "Antisemitism surges 360% this year." ![[image-70.png|702x250]] - The ADL website contains an interactive heat map of antisemitic, white supremacist, and anti lgbtq incidents. ![[Screen Recording 2025-08-10 222306.mp4]] - The ADL website also has an interactive map that ranks US states on their respective action to combat antisemitism. Each state is accompanied with a report. The map ranks FL,CA,NY among the only states up to par with ADL standards. - The ADL website has a database of individuals, symbols, websites, and groups it considers antisemitic or extremist. This database is made to name and shame people into submission. - When the ADL perceives a public or influential figure to have committed antisemitism they will release a statement denouncing the person and often demand their resignation. - The ADL uses economic pressure as a significant point of leverage. Just like against Henry Ford in the 1920s, they organize advertiser boycotts against modern social media giants and tv networks when they believe the platforms do not moderate antisemitism enough. - The ADL under director [[Jonathan Greenblatt]] (2015-present) has been very active in the online social media realm. - To this effect in 2017 the ADL launch the Center For Technology and Society (CTS). - The CTS is partnered with many of the big silicon valley tech companies to police online hate speech. The ADL is has partnered with Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, Reddit, etc. - The ADL soon concluded the tech companies were not doing enough to police speech and became much more confrontational around 2018-2020. - In mid 2020 the ADL led a coalition of progressive groups to called #StopHateForProfit. The coalition organized an 1,100 company boycott of Facebook resulting in Facebook implementing more strict speech guild lines. - After Elon Musk bought Twitter and relaxed the strict speech rules on the platform the ADL began releasing reports of wildly increased antisemitism and extremism. In late 2022 the ADL began pushing a large advertiser boycott on Twitter which resulted in a ~60% drop in advertising revenue. Musk publicly blamed the ADL and began his own campaign against them. *A pillar of the ADL definition of antisemitism is any organized boycotts of Jewish or Israeli entities. At the same time, the ADL's strongest weapon has historically been organized boycotts.* >[!info] ADL, Israel, and AI - The largest Israeli student union, the National Union of Israeli Students operates a program called *Israeli Students Combating Antisemitism (ISCA)*. - The ADL's office in Israel works with the ISCA to train Israeli students on monitoring online antisemitism. - The ADL works with the Israeli company [[CyberWell]]. - CyberWell uses AI to compile a database of all antisemitic incidents on social media. - CyberWell has a public list of incidents with platform, username, and "type" of antisemitism (as defined by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance). - The [CyberWell database](https://app.cyberwell.org/) allows you to scroll through incidents and track the status of the post (reported, needs reporting, post removed). In addition there is a "Report Now!" button next to every incident which allows users to report the post to whichever social platform it was posted on. - The ADL, at its Center For Technology and Society (CTS), has released a report charging many LLMs of antisemitism and anti Israel bias. - The ADL through its CTS partnered with UC Berkeley operates the *Online Hate Index (OHI)*. The OHI uses AI and machine learning to sift the internet for antisemitism, racism, extremism, etc. The OHI is programmed to flag antisemitic posts. #### Education - The ADL runs k-12 programs that teach about antisemitism, racism, and hatred. - *A World of Difference* and *No place for hate* are two ADL education programs. These programs indoctrinate children into ADL definitions of racism, antisemitism, and prejudice while pushing "melting pot" ideology, anti-nativist nationalism ideology, and colorblind religion-blind allyship. - The ADL is partnered with the [[USC Shoah Foundation]] and Israel's holocaust memorial institution Yad Vashem to train teachers/educators on how to teach about the holocaust and antisemitism. - This partnership is called the *Echoes and Reflections Program*. (ERP) - The ERP brags about training teachers in all 50 states and DC. They also brag about impacting 10 million students in 23,000 schools. - The ADL works with private companies doing diversity and inclusion training. - These business pay the ADL to host "Lunch and Learn," and "anti bias" sessions. #### ADL Activities in the Network - The ADL is a member organization of the [[Conference of Presidents]]. - Under the Conference the ADL coordinates with the most prominent American Jewish groups. - The ADL, an American NGO, has an office in Israel. - This office is the coordination point for the ADL and the Israeli government/diaspora groups/nonprofits. - This is where the ADL coordinates with Israel's [[Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism]]. - Notably in 2004, the pressure of the Jewish network in the US was enough for the US Congress to form an 'in house' envoy combatting antisemitism. This position is called the [[Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism]]. - This envoy position was upgraded to an ambassador level position appointed by the President. - In 1983 ADL director [[Nathan Perlmutter]] and co director [[Yechiel Eckstein]] formed the [[International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ)]] with Eckstein at the helm. - The ADL is one of four major partners with the [[Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI)]]. - The ADL, the [[Open Society Foundations]], the United Nations, and the Charles Koch Foundation are listed as the NCRI's affiliate organizations. - The NCRI was founded by Joel Finkelstein in 2018. - The NCRI is ran by, almost exclusively, Jews. - The NCRI "uses machine learning tools to expose hate on social networks." - The NCRI collects data on online political sentiment, social media trends, Middle East politics, the American right wing, etc. *All through the lens of Israel.* - They use their data to produced polished reports. - The NCRI's reports are then used by the major media outlets to legitimize a coordinated messaging campaign. - In March 2025, the NCRI produced a report called [*Thy Name in Vain: How Online Extremists Hijacked ‘Christ is King.’*](https://networkcontagion.us/reports/3-13-25-thy-name-in-vain-how-online-extremists-hijacked-christ-is-king/) - The report's Jewish authors, joined by Jordan B.
