# American Friends of Likud (AFL)
- The American Friends of Likud (AFL) is the [[Likud]] Party conduit-organization based in the United States.
- The AFL arranges speaking events for Likud party officials, facilitates Likud-American relations, and propagandizes on behalf of the Israeli Likud.
- The AFL is closely associated with right wing American politics and the Republican party.
- In 2015, a Likud advisor stated, "There is a well-established network in the US through the group American Friends of the Likud, which is connected to people who care about Israel and its future."
- To this effect the AFL facilitates American Jewish support for Likud, including campaign contributions (90%+ of Netanyahu's election donations in 2015 were from Americans).
- The AFL is a New York based 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
----
- American Friends of Likud was founded in 1992 by [[J. Philip Rosen]] at the direct behest of [[Benjamin Netanyahu]].

- Rosen described the purpose of founding the AFL as "help the Likud ministers, when they came to the United States, with speaking engagements. Really just spread the word. No money, absolutely no financial fund-raising, zero. Just spread the message."
