2026-03-23 12:24:AM <br/> Tags: #organization #AmericanJewry #Lobby ![[image-255.png|545]] # David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC) - The David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC) is am American right wing pro-Israel political advocacy organization.[^1] - The DHFC is a pro-Israel pro-Jewish organization concealed as a far right pro-America anti-Muslim anti-left-wing organization. *DHFC is not anti-Muslim/left because they are pro-Christian, pro-US, or pro-white. They are anti-Muslim because Muslims oppose Israel. An important distinction.* - The DHFC has cultivated many prominent right wing activists, politicians, and operatives.[^9] - The DHFC was most influential in the late 2000s and early 2010s. #### Founding - The DHFC was founded in 1988 by [[David Horowitz]] and his close associate Peter Collier. - Horowitz was born to "committed Communist parents in New York City." Horowitz himself was a communist activist in his youth.[^5] - Horowitz, a secular Jew, became disillusioned with the radical left of the 1960s and 1970s after the death of a colleague allegedly at the hands of the Black Panthers, with whom he was associated. - The DHFC was originally named the Center for the Study of Popular Culture (CSPC) until being renamed in 2006. #### Activities - In 2007, the DHFC launched a nationwide campus awareness campaign called "Islamo-Facism Awareness Week."[^11] - The DHFC branded the campaign as a mass conservative uprising. - Islamo-Facism is a term commonly used by pro-Israel right wing activists and Jews. The term efficiently ties Muslims and Muslim countries to Hitler and Nazi Germany, i.e., the current and past enemies of the Jews. - In 2013, [[David Horowitz]] and a young [[Ben Shapiro]] founded *TruthRevolt*, a right wing pro-Israel watchdog site meant to mimic left wing watchdog sites. - The [website's](https://www.truthrevolt.org/commentary_page-3) outdated commentary section features articles and videos by: [[Caroline Glick]], [[PragerU]], [[Dennis Prager]], [[Ronn Torossian]], [[Daniel Pipes]], Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, etc. - One [[PragerU]] video highlighted by TruthRevolt is titled "I'm Gay...Conservative...So What?" [^12] - The video describes homosexuality as an "immutable characteristic that has nothing to do with ideas or values."*I highlight this video to imply TruthRevolt, the Freedom Center, PragerU, Daily Wire, and all similar outfits are not even right wing. These are pro-Israel organizations hijacking popular right wing sentiment (anti-Islam, anti-immigrant, etc.) to promote and enforce a pro-Israel consensus on the right wing.* - The video continues: "Just like any conservative, I want taxes low, the military strong, and don't even get me started on single payer healthcare or late term abortion." - The homosexual in the video takes a moment to express how "genuinely grateful" he is to left wing "gay rights activists." - The video's top comment on TruthRevolt's site states: "Meanwhile, gay liberals defend those who would throw them off a building." *This bizarre argument is commonly used by pro-Israel Jews pretending to be right wing.
