# David Brog (1965-)
- David Brog is an American Jewish operative and Christian Zionist leader/organizer, who is deeply enmeshed in the Israeli influence apparatus in the United States.
- Brog is a third cousin of former Israeli prime minister [[Ehud Barak]].
- Brog is a protégé of of [[Sheldon Adelson|Sheldon]] and [[Miriam Adelson|Miriam]] Adelson.
- Brog was the long time executive director of [[Christians United For Israel (CUFI)]]
- Brog is the co-founder of the [[Edmund Burke Foundation]] and [[National Conservatism Conference (NatCon)]].
- Brog has an Israeli wife and Israeli children.
- After graduating from Harvard Law School, Brog practiced corporate law in the United States and Israel.
#### CUFI
- In 2006, [[John Hagee]] hired Brog at [[Christians United For Israel (CUFI)]]. *Brog, a practicing Jew, is no Christian.*
- Brog's extensive political network in D.C. was the primary reason for his recruitment to CUFI.
- Brog served as CUFI's executive director from 2006-2015.
- In his position, Brog's Jewishness helped to ease the minds of organized Jewry, as Jews are usually disturbed by Christian Zionists. *This is not something the Christian Zionists are able to see.*
- As CUFI executive director, Brog brought large delegations of Christian Zionists to Israel.
- During these trips the evangelical Christian Zionists would [meet with Israeli leaders](https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/israel-middle-east/articles/friends-in-deed#:~:text=Brog%E2%80%99s%20evangelicals%20meet%20Israel%E2%80%99s%20leaders%2C%20like%20President%20Shimon%20Peres%2C%20Prime%20Minister%20Benjamin%20Netanyahu%2C%20and%20Defense%20Minister%20Ehud%20Barak%2C) including: [[Benjamin Netanyahu]], [[Ehud Barak]], [[Shimon Peres]], etc.
- Throughout his tenure at CUFI, Brog consistently aligned the organization with the Israeli right wing, i.e., tough on Iran, tough on the Palestinians, unconditional military backing of Israel, support for Israeli settler activity, etc.
#### Brog as Jewish Political Operative
- Brog was spent years as a congressional staffer in D.C. before spending seven years as Senator Arlen Spector's chief of staff.
- Arlen Spector was the creator of the "Magic Bullet Theory" regarding the assassination of JFK.
- Spector was Jewish.
- Brog's Zionism is self admittedly a result of reading [[Menachem Begin]]'s 1951 book *The Revolt*, which covers Begin's early [[Revisionist Zionism|Revisionist Zionist]] Jewish terror organization the [[Irgun and Lehi Zionist Paramilitary Organizations|Irgun]].
- In 2015, Brog left CUFI to lead [[Maccabee Task Force]]. Maccabee Task Force was originally called Campus Maccabees
- Maccabee is a right wing pro-Israel anti-BDS organization founded by billionaire Jewish financiers [[Haim Saban]], [[Sheldon Adelson]], and [[Adam Milstein]].
- Maccabee was infused with tens of millions of dollars by Adelson, Saban and Milstein at its launch, making it one of the best funded pro-Israel campus organizations.
- [[Rabbi Shmuley Boteach]] was also involved in the founding of Maccabee and is [credited](https://forward.com/news/311662/leader-of-christian-zionists-named-head-of-adelson-campus-anti-bds-group/#:~:text=Rabbi%20Shmuley%20Boteach%2C%20who%20played%20a%20key%20role%20in%20organizing%20the%20kickoff%20and%20who%20is%20credited%20with%20coming%20up%20with%20the%20organization%E2%80%99s%20name%2C) with the original name Campus Maccabees.
- In 2019 Brog co-founded the [[Edmund Burke Foundation]] with Israeli-American political operative [[Yoram Hazony]].
- The [[Edmund Burke Foundation]] hosts the annual [[National Conservatism Conference (NatCon)]], a right wing American nationalist conference with considerable prominence in contemporary right wing politics.
- NatCon is an Israel-first conference cloaked as an America-first one. NatCon, and Brog specifically, have banned 'white supremacists' from speaking at or attending the conference.
- At the first National Conservatism Conference in 2019, Brog told any white supremacists in the crowd: "There is the door, please leave, your ideas are not welcome here." *"White supremacist", is a verbal weapon used by those at NatCon and similar settings to discredit pro-white sentiment.
- [During his speech at NatCon 2019](https://youtu.be/2xNfChzwH3w?t=60), Brog claimed the far right was running rampant "murdering Jews in synagogues and African Americans in churches." Brog followed this claim by railing against the 'woke left' for "judging us by the color of our skin and not the content of our character." *It seems Brog wishes to eliminate race as a real distinction in any form by claiming no matter where it comes from, it's the product of extremism.*
- Brog continued his speech calling for a controlled definition of nationalism. Brog claimed "opportunists on the extreme right" insist that "when we say nationalism, we mean nativism-blood and soil."
- Brog described American blood and soil nativist-nationalism as the far right "fueling their own racist ends." #RedPill *American blood and soil nationalism is "racist" and "extreme" but Israel is a special land for a special people? NatCon represents Jewish and Israeli subterfuge within the American right wing. They are harnessing nativist sentiment in order to guide it in a pro-Israel and non-racial direction.*

- Brog did not receive the nomination.
- Brog remained the leader of [[Maccabee Task Force]] while running for Congress.
- Brog's run was backed by former [[Donald Trump]] officials, [[David Friedman]] and [[Elan Carr]].
- Friedman and Carr ran a fundraising event for Brog's campaign.
- Elan Carr was Trump's [[Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism]], and the former CEO of the [[Israeli-American Council]].
- David Friedman was Ambassador to Israel during the first Trump Administration.
- Brog was also endorsed by [[Norm Coleman]], the national chair of the [[Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC)]].
- In 2023 Brog spoke at a [[Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC)]] event with RJC CEO [[Matt Brooks]].
- Brog is a [[PragerU]] contributor.[^1]
- Brog is connected to PragerU through his leadership of [[Maccabee Task Force]].
