# Yoram Raved (1956-)
- Yoram Raved is an Israeli lawyer and veteran of the elite intelligence unit, [[Unit 8200]].
- Raved's mother worked for the [[Jewish National Fund]]'s department of Diaspora affairs.
- Raved's son Tomer Raved is the chairman of [[Bezeq]], the Israeli telecoms giant.
- Raved's other son Itay Raved is the director for Elon Musk's Tesla in Israel.
- Itay also runs the operations for Lime (as in Lime scooter) in Israel.
- Raved served in the Israeli Air Force, later transferring to the elite signals intelligence (SIGINT) and cybersecurity Unit [[Unit 8200|8200]].
- Raved is a member of the 8200 Alumni Association, an Israeli collective of 8200 veterans.
- The 8200 Alumni Association helps Israeli tech startups penetrate the U.S. market through a program called "8200 Global."
- *The American Silicon Valley, cybersecurity, and venture capital sectors are all thoroughly infiltrated by Israeli operatives.*
- Raved received a law degree from Tel Aviv University in 1982.
- He opened his own law office in 1991.
- In 2017 his firm, already a major force in the Israeli legal field, merged with Shibolet & Co.
- Raved became the co-director of Shibolet in 2017.
- Shibolet and Raved both rank among the top law firms and lawyers respectively.
- Raved's legal services have been retained by many of the largest Israeli corporations including:

- Mekorot - Israeli national water company
- Elron Electronic Industries - Major foundational company of Israel's high tech sector

- Raved is a close confidant of billionaire Israeli tycoon [[Nochi Danker]].

- Raved was the personal attorney of Israeli Prime Mister [[Ariel Sharon]] from 2000-2006. *This time period coincides with Sharon's Prime Ministership.*
- Raved was a member of Sharon's inner circle, called the "Ranch Forum," named after their meetings at Sharon's personal ranch in the Negev Desert.
- As a member of Sharon's inner circle, Raved helped to advise and coordinate political maneuvers and policy positions.
- Raved was involved in the inner workings of the [[Likud]] party coalition in the early 2000s.
- Raved was a key architect of the [[Kadima]] party.
- Kadima was formed by [[Ariel Sharon]] in 2005 after he left [[Likud]].
- Raved served as an advisor to Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni in 2008.
- Livni was among the founders of Kadima, and its party leader in 2008.
- In 2008, Livni attempted to form a coalitional government which she would lead as Prime Minister.

- Raved has also been involved in high level back-channel negotiations involving Israel and Palestine.
- From 2006-2008 Raved was directly involved in quiet negotiations being held in Spain.
- Raved was in direct contact with Prime Minister [[Ehud Olmert]], Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and [[Shin Bet]] director [[Yuval Diskin]] during the negotiations.
- *Based on the totality of Raved's activities, it seems likely he is something like a political and legal 'fixer' for high level clients.*
- Raved sits on the board of directors for [[Masa Israel Journey]].
- Masa is a program that provides free trips to Israel for Diaspora Jews.
